What everyone knows is true.

People don’t need to be told they are sinners. They already feel this to be true.

People don’t need to be told they are f___ ups.  They already feel this to be true.

People don’t need to be told God is mad at them and could never love someone like them.  They already feel this to be true.

People don’t need to be told they are too much, or not enough.  They already feel this to be true.

People don’t need to be told they are useless, incapable, and will never amount to anything.  They already feel this to be true.

People don’t need to be told they have no power to change their lives, selves or circumstances.  They already feel this to be true.

People don’t need to be told they have been doing it wrong this whole time, and the answer is with someone or something else.  They already feel this to be true.

People don’t need to be told they’re wrong, messed up, crazy, stupid, no good and confused.  They already feel this to be true.

If you feel it’s your personal responsibility to help others realise all these things, your job is redundant.  Most people already feel these things to be true.

Your job is to help them see they’re wrong about all these things.

By loving them.

Loving them isn’t telling them all or any of these things. It’s loving them. Loving. Them.

You can be the expert in your field, but if you don’t know how to love people, it means nothing.

You may have thousands of followers, but if those people don’t believe you love them, you’ve wasted your time and theirs.

You can be the most experienced, qualified and clever, but if you are not the most loving, your knowledge and spirituality is void.

You may be enlightened, be able to see the future, speak with the tongues of angels, divine great mysteries and explain very the existence of God, and if people don’t hear and see Gods love when they hear and see you, you’ve missed the point entirely.

Patience. Kindness. Equality, justice and mercy. Humility and honor. Generosity. Protectiveness. Trust. A carrier of hope. A holder of dreams. Persevering. Loving. (1 Corinthians 13, The Holy Bible.)

Love, most sincerely, Jo xxx
